Join us to explore the south coast of Mallorca with Vanyou ... what a better way to enjoy the Mediterranean essence and its paradisiacal beaches than in your comfortable campervan? Get ready because we start our route!
The beautiful inland roads MA-6040 and MA-6030 will take you through landscapes that take your breath away and end at the fabulous Es Trenc Beach, one of the most well-known and photographed beaches on the island although full of charm.
Along more than two kilometers of beach you will have at your disposal turquoise waters, white sand and incomparable views of the Cabrera island, a protected area under the figure of the National Maritime-Terrestrial Park and one of the most impressive sunsets in all of Mallorca.
The charm of this unique corner is magnified by the absence of constructions: there are no hotels, apartments or buildings, a single restaurant (The last paradise, with parking to leave the caravan if you eat there), the vastness of the sea, small dunes and the typical vegetation of this unique ecosystem: sea thistles, reeds and salicornias.
Feel the Mediterranean under your feet as you walk barefoot on the sand, read a book resting on your towel or simply do nothing, all options are possible on this beach.
As it is one of the most famous beaches on the island (and in all of Spain), we recommend arriving early, bringing an umbrella and parking either in the parking lot adjacent to the beach (16 euros for motorhomes) or in the parking lot provided by the City Council (5 euros) and take the shuttle to Es Trenc / Ses Covetes for 1.50 / way.
Es Trenc is not just a beach. In its surroundings there are wetlands, such as those of Salobral de Campos, where from September you can observe migratory birds, especially the majestic flamingos.
We cannot forget the famous Salinas de Es Trenc, where, after discovering how the sun rips its product from the sea and learning the secrets of the elaboration of this important natural seasoning, the most gourmet campers will be able to acquire the famous Flor de Sal that has delighted the most famous chefs in the world.
Very close to Es Trenc is the Ses Covetes beach, whose name derives from some funerary caves discovered in its surroundings, more than two thousand years old.
Ses Covetes is divided into two parts, the closest to the town of Sa Rapita, a sandy area 200 meters long, especially suitable for children, since the depth is scarce and the Es Freu area, about 50 meters and less crowded for its rocky ground so ... don't forget your booties!
A few kilometers to the west we reach Sa Ràpita Beach; This semi-urban sandy area has all the services and with enough space in its surroundings to park. It is a white sand beach with crystal clear blue waters, especially suitable for families. Also, in its surroundings there is an adequate gastronomic offer so that you do not have to worry about anything else but to relax and enjoy these little corners of paradise.
We ask you, to please, be respectful with the environment and that your time in this fragile ecosystem only generates wonderful memories.
