Vehicles are at most 2 to 3 years old. The website does not say which models are available at the Seville base.

Southcamper is the brand of Southcamp Experience S.L., a motorhome and campervan rental company founded in 2012 whose main base is in Málaga and which opened a second base in Seville in 2024. It also has an office in Bremen (Germany), so it is not a purely local Seville business: it is a company with bases in Spain and clear German links (the ownership is not stated on its website). It rents its own fleet of eight models, from the Panama 10+ pop-top camper to the 6-berth Elnagh Baron, with all-risk insurance, unlimited mileage and roadside assistance included.

Southcamper is easy to compare: eight models, a full price table by group and season, unlimited mileage and all-risk insurance. Keep in mind that it is not a purely local Seville business: its main base is in Málaga, the Seville base opened in 2024 and it has an office in Bremen. Confirm which models are available in Seville, how the €75 “Delivery/Return in Seville” extras apply, the minimum of 6 days and that pets are not allowed as a general rule.

Economic

  • Payment: 30% of the rental price when booking; the rest is paid at the base on the pick-up day.
  • Discounts: 5% for rentals of 12 to 20 days and 10% for 21 days or more.
  • Included: unlimited mileage, one driver (the renter), gas bottles, toilet chemicals, power cable, water hose and roadside assistance.
  • Fees: cleaning €100 if returned dirty or with tanks not emptied; fuel plus €30 if not returned with a full tank; €35 administration fee per fine or sanction.
  • Extras: additional driver €25; bed linen set €50 (winter) or €30 (summer); towel set €10; camping chair €5; camping table €10; kitchen kit €30; bike rack €5 (2 bikes); folding bike €5/day; child seat €10 (types A, B, C); GPS €25; Smart TV €25 (the website only says “per day” for the folding bike and the reduced excess; confirm whether the rest are per rental).
  • Delivery and returns: out-of-hours pick-up or return €30 with prior authorisation; “Delivery in Seville” €75 and “Return in Seville” €75 (the website does not explain when they apply; confirm).

Rental terms

  • Mileage: unlimited kilometres included.
  • Minimum rental: 6 days.
  • Booking: you book a vehicle group, not a specific model; the company may deliver another model of the same or a higher group.
  • Pets: not allowed as a general rule; special permission possible by prior agreement, with possible surcharges for cleaning (amount not published).
  • Minimum age: 25 for the renter and every additional driver, with a category B licence held for at least 2 years; non-EU residents need an international licence.
  • Documents: original ID or passport (a foreigner's NIE is not accepted as ID) and driving licence of every registered driver, who must be present at pick-up.
  • Where you can drive: Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra and France.
  • Cancellation: 30% of the rental price if the renter cancels.
  • Return: with a full fuel tank, clean inside, kitchen and bathroom cleaned and grey and black water tanks emptied; late returns are charged per full day.
  • Pick-up and return hours: every day from 10:00 to 18:00; out-of-hours by prior agreement for a fee.
  • Prohibited: smoking, off-road driving, towing and use outside the contract.

What's included

Two-burner gas hob, sink and fridge-freezer (42 L in the Panama, 80 L in the Horus, 135 L in the rest). The kitchen kit (cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils) is an extra at €30.
From 2 to 6 sleeping places depending on the model: Panama 10+ 4 (pop-top and convertible bench), Horus 45 2+2, Kilig 18 3, MC4 239 3+1, MC4 260 4, MC4 273 4+1, MC4 279 4 and Baron 6. Bed linen is an extra (€50 winter set, €30 summer set for 2 people).
Interior shower, washbasin and cassette toilet (18-20 L) in all models except the Panama 10+, which has an outdoor shower and an optional 15 L portable toilet. Fresh water tanks of 85-120 L (50 L in the Panama) and grey water tanks of 90-130 L (30 L in the Panama), with hot and cold water.
Solar panel (120-160 W) and 12 V to 220 V converter (300 W; 600 W in the Panama) in the motorhomes; the Panama 10+ page says it has no solar panel. Mains hook-up cable (CEE) with 15 m extension and water hose with adapters are included.
Awning in groups B, C and D (not in the Panama 10+). Garage in the Kilig 18, the McLouis models and the Baron. Camping chairs (€5), camping table (€10) and bike rack (€5, 2 bikes) as extras.
Heating in all models (diesel in the Panama and Horus, gas in the rest), air conditioning in the driver's cab, radio with Bluetooth, rear-view camera (groups B, C and D) and 2 Isofix seats in groups B, C and D. Extras: child car seats, GPS, Smart TV, folding bike and bike rack (see economic conditions).
Roadside assistance and mobility guarantee included in the price (insurer and phone number not published). Replacement vehicle subject to availability if the motorhome is out of service through no fault of the renter. Hand-over takes about an hour with a full explanation of the vehicle.
