Vanyou's advice

DeKaravaning is an independent company in Loja that rents six named motorhomes (Benimar, Roller Team and a Fiat Ducato camper van) for 4 to 6 people. It does not publish prices on its website, so you must ask the company for a quote before comparing it with others. Confirm the delivery cost at the airports and AVE stations, the price of extra kilometres (300 km/day are included), the deposit return time, the pet policy and which vehicle is available for your dates: the website has not been updated since 2025, it lists three different addresses and two phone numbers, and its downloadable contracts are older versions with different figures. The photos are taken from the company’s website and several look like manufacturer catalogue images.

Pick-up and logistics

Pick-up base

Av. de España 14, Loja (Granada); their contact page and fleet listing give C. Alhama de Granada 15 and their legal notice Avda. de la Esperanza 14, so confirm the address

Details

Pick-up and return at their base in Loja (the contract says delivery and return are at the lessor’s address in Loja unless another place is agreed), or by arrangement at the airports of Granada, Jaén and Málaga and the AVE stations of Granada, Loja, Antequera and Málaga. According to their FAQ and terms, on the first day you can collect the vehicle from 9:00 and on the last day you must return it before 20:00 (their 2022 contract says delivery from 10:00 and return until midnight: confirm). The handover takes about an hour with instructions and a signed delivery report, so they advise against planning long trips that day; the vehicle is delivered clean, with full fuel, AdBlue and fresh water tanks and empty waste tanks. If you need a transfer to their base, ask the company whether it offers one.

Airport delivery

Yes, by arrangement: their vehicle pages and fleet listing say pick-up and return at the airports of Granada, Jaén and Málaga, always “by arrangement after consulting” them. The cost of that service is not published, and the contract says pick-up and return are at their base in Loja unless both parties agree on another place. Confirm the price, the time and the exact meeting point when you book.

Station delivery

Yes, by arrangement: they list the AVE stations of Málaga, Antequera, Loja and Granada, always “by arrangement after consulting”. The cost is not published and the contract says delivery and return are at their base in Loja unless another place is agreed. Ask the company whether it offers a transfer from the station to the base.

Customer parking

Their terms mention free parking for the customer’s own car at the lessor’s premises during the rental, at the owner’s risk (the company takes no responsibility for it). Where exactly and for how long is not published: confirm when you book.

Booking

Through their website (booking engine, or a “we help you” form with the number of travellers and whether you bring a pet), by phone or by email. The booking is binding after their written confirmation and a 30% deposit; the rest is paid at delivery (their contract says the full amount must be paid beforehand: confirm). The €600 deposit is taken by credit card at pick-up.

Schedule notes

Pick-up from 9:00 on the departure day and return before 20:00 on the arrival day, according to their FAQ and terms (their 2022 contract says delivery from 10:00 and return until midnight: confirm).
