Vanyou's advice

Autocaravana Mallorca is a small independent company in Palma that publishes clear daily rates by season, a €900/€600/€300 excess and deposit system and quite detailed conditions, with five family-oriented models (4 to 7 places) and one camper. Before booking, confirm how many vehicles it has and which are available for your dates, the pet rule (the Spanish conditions allow pets with authorisation, the English ones forbid them), the exact meaning of the free transfer and the port service, the dates of each season and the rules for taking the vehicle on a ferry. Its home-page header shows a placeholder phone number; use the contact page number or WhatsApp. The photos are taken from the company’s website.

Their FAQ says the vehicles carry a 100-litre clean-water tank and a second toilet tank because there are few places to empty in Mallorca (it does not say whether this applies to the Livingstone camper). Toilet fluid for the whole rental, hose, mains cable and chocks are included. They show you how the toilet works before you leave.

Every vehicle has an anti-theft GPS locator. They give you an instruction manual, explain how everything works at hand-over (you are asked to allow time for the check) and send an exclusive Google Maps link with overnight spots and places to empty and fill the water tanks. Winter chains and child seats or boosters are free if you ask for them.
